Refund request from 33 participants

Letter from 33 participants requesting refund from Peilican Technologies This letter contains details of the Neurotrader Program's failure to provide any of the services paid for. This was Medanic's response: Dear all, Firstly, the amount of misinformation that you have been served is disturbing and unfortunate. In any event, there are no legal nor moral grounds for a refund, hence there shall be no refund. You were provided with a fair solution in my prior correspondence via the newsletter. So, here we are, more than four months into the program and the lesson is taken up with trying to get the software to work. Not only that, but where are the lessons for the last three weeks? He is contractually obliged to provide these lessons to all levels on the program.

Was due dilligence done on this partnership?

It seems not. Chris Capre had seen the application working in working real time but not with multiple users. A big part of the sales pitch was the hedge fund but this didn't exist. I spent a couple of hours researching Ken Medanic's past. Everything I discovered should have been a very large red flag. I couldn't find any evidence of Medanic ever having acheived anything; there are plenty of promotional videos but no evidence of a functioning product with multiple users or a successful business. Similarly, Medanic has videos going back to 2016 to sell his technology and his Peak Performance Trading program but I couldn't find a single review of it or any evidence of any traders using it. If the system was functioning as Ken calimed it was, wouldn't a Twitter friendly trader who was using this technology and succeeding with it be shouting from the rooftops? Via YouTube and facebook I found someone who had worked with Ken in Montreal and his endorsement of Ken...

This was very strange indeed. All questions required a Yes/No reponse. I have no idea what he did with the responses as there was never any feedback. Here are some examples of the questions that were in the questionaire at the end of each 'lesson'. Double click the first image to view them as a slideshow.

(1) What Neurotrader is/was and who was involved Neurotrader was advertised as an education al program that would enable amateur financial market traders to become professionals. Using the technology, traders w ould be able to monitor their biological state for signs of stress and receive personalized real-time feedback . This collection and feedback of biodata was supposed to be integrated with trading softwar e. By using the technology, the trader could know whe ther he or she is in a ‘peak performance state’ versus a ‘sub- optimal (stressed) state ’ and adjust activity accordingly i.e. the trader would open trades while in a sub-optimal state. The device that measured the biodata was called NeuroEdge, It was worn on the trader's fin g er and connected to their computer through Bluetooth. See Neurotrader.com  for full details of the technology As well as the innovative technology, the program was unique in that it offered all successful participants the...
